In the heart of Xiamen, Yundang Lake shows how nature and city life can thrive side by side. Seawater exchange helps improve water circulation, while the lake provides a habitat for birds and a peaceful escape for residents. From urban lakes to the wider ocean, protecting aquatic ecosystems and biodiversity is essential for sustainable future.
