The woman was discovered on Pok Wai South Road at 12.42am on Sunday, according to the force. She was taken to Pok Oi Hospital in Yuen Long and pronounced dead at 2.09am.
Security camera footage showed her leaving Yuen Long MTR station at 11.40pm on Saturday and riding a shared bike home, acting assistant Yuen Long district commander Cheung Chun-tong said.
