The Eddie Hearn vs. Dana White saga continues to play out publicly, and the latest volley, from Hearn, is enthusiastic to say the least.

The Eddie Hearn vs. Dana White saga continues to play out publicly, and the latest volley, from Hearn, is enthusiastic to say the least.

HearnΒ thinks White is doing the equivalent of a chat-and-cut. From Hearn's perspective, White had no business being involved in an upcoming massive boxing event on Netflix – and managed to weasel his way into the line by pretending he was there all along.

Larry David would be, rightfully, incensed by such a thing. White, in Hearn's estimation, doesn't respect wood, and that needs to be made known.

The British boxing promoter posted a video Friday that calls out the UFC and Zuffa Boxing CEO for his attempts to be part of the December megafight between British boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, which will take place in Cardiff, Wales – not New York's Madison Square Garden, as White claimed he had worked out.

Hearn, who represents Joshua, had specific contractual language prohibiting White and Zuffa Boxing from being part of the promotion of the fight, which White continues to imply will be ignored. The initial news release from Netflix about the event specifically mentioned White's involvement alongside Turki Al-Sheikh, which set Hearn off.

Hearn's video borrows the famous "Curb Your Enthusiasm" intro and outro music (Luciano Michelini's "Frolic" from the 1974 Italian film "La Bellissima Estate") over a bevy of clips of White speaking confidently about his knowledge of and involvement in the fight's planning, and the booking of the stadium in Wales – only to show that he, in essence, has yet to be proven right on any of it.

White has been getting increasing backlash from the combat sports community, and when Al-Sheikh mentioned his name at a public news conference for Fury-Joshua earlier this week, many fans booed loudly enough to give Al-Sheikh reason to pause.
