US man recites Hanuman Chalisa at twice the speed, internet can't stop hitting replay
A man from the US surprised viewers with an unexpected performance after sitting down to recite the Hanuman Chalisa, at twice the usual speed.
Nick Dearman, who is currently based in Texas, shared the video on Instagram, where he announced that he would attempt to recite the devotional hymn in 2x speed.
He then got straight into it, keeping his eyes and attention focused as he raced through the verses. Despite the pace, Nick appeared completely in control, moving from one line to the next without missing a word.
He continued reciting the Hanuman Chalisa at the same speed all the way to the end, maintaining his rhythm throughout.
His caption was brief and almost cheeky: “You can Google the lyrics.”
The unusual recital received plenty of appreciation in the comments. One viewer admitted that Nick chants the Hanuman Chalisa better than they do, while another jokingly described the experience of hearing it recited so confidently by an American as something that would leave their ancestors confused.
Another commenter simply expressed their respect for him and signed off with “Jai Hanuman.”- Ends
