Udaipur startup gives employees a Diwali gift that puts their work fatigue first

An Udaipur-based startup surprised its employees with a thoughtful Diwali gift hamper that went beyond the usual festive sweets and dry fruits, leaving social media users impressed by the gesture.

Instagram account The Viral Startup Office shared a video of the celebrations at Influish, showing co-founder Sankalp Nag revealing what the company had arranged for its employees ahead of Diwali.

In the clip, Nag was seen walking around the office as he showed off the gifts placed on employees' desks. He said that several big companies had often spoken about wanting to place a large gift on every employee's table, and that Influish had finally made it happen. "Our office is now ready with the gifts... Look at this view," he said.

He then revealed what each employee would receive: a Cult back massager worth nearly Rs 13,000, baked goodies and a soft comforter. Explaining the choice of gift, Nag said, "People get tired sitting on their desks all day and working, so this back massager would definitely come in handy."

The post's caption asked viewers what gifts they had received for Diwali, writing, "Is Diwali sabko yeh gifts mil rahe hai" (Everyone is getting these gifts this Diwali), followed by a question inviting people to share what their workplaces had given them.

The gesture received an enthusiastic response, with several users appreciating the thought behind the gifts. One user described it as a present that showed employees their hard work was valued.

Another felt the massager could help employees feel more productive and efficient, while a third praised the founder for thinking about his team and making their festive season special.- Ends
