Traffic regulations will be imposed at Palarivattom from later this week for a month in the SN Junction-St. Martin’s Church corridor owing to piling works that are on near the church.
Thus, vehicles from Edappally to Kaloor will have to turn left from SN Junction, reach Palarivattom, turn right, and then proceed towards Kaloor. A trial run will be conducted on Thursday, says a release from Kochi Metro Rail Limited.
In the meantime, it was decided at a review meeting of the metro agency on Tuesday that steps would be taken to fill vacancies in different wings by year-end. In addition, steps would be taken to augment non-ticketing revenue, including by semi-naming of metro stations, according to KMRL.
