Telangana CM to inaugurate IDOC in Karimnagar, to lay foundation stones for ₹345.78 crore development works in Sircilla

Elaborate arrangements are in place for Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s visit to the erstwhile composite Karimnagar district on Wednesday, including his maiden visit to Sircilla as Chief Minister, where he will participate in development programmes and address a public meeting.

Mr. Reddy will inaugurate the Integrated District Offices Complex (New Collectorate) in Karimnagar and review development initiatives with district officials. Issues including the Manair Riverfront Development Project, civic infrastructure and the dumping yard in Karimnagar are expected to figure in the meeting, sources said.

Over 500 police personnel have been deployed for the bandobust arrangements in Karimnagar.

In Sircilla, Mr. Reddy will lay foundation stones for development works worth around ₹345.78 crore, including expansion of the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple complex and pilgrim amenities (Phase 1- Additional works) at Vemulawada at an estimated cost of ₹99.4 crore.

He is also likely to take part in a padayatra before addressing a public meeting in the textile town of Sircilla.

The public meeting assumes political significance as it marks Mr. Revanth Reddy’s maiden visit to Sircilla as Chief Minister. The constituency is represented by BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao.

Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Adluri Laxman Kumar and other Congress leaders and MLAs visited the venues on Tuesday to review the arrangements.
