Steelers RT Dylan Cook goes viral for pass protection mishap vs. Patriots - Steelers Wire
The Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive line was left utterly humiliated in the Week 2 loss to the New England Patriots. But there was one pass protection mishap that has since gone viral on social media, and it belongs to none other than right tackle Dylan Cook.
Early in the Week 2 matchup, Cook was completely lost on a third-down play. New England's pass rush came flying in, but Cook failed to block a single defender off the right side. Rodgers was forced to make an errant throw to Jaylen Warren following pressure from Patriots linebacker Robert Spillane.

What makes Cook's struggles so frustrating is that the offensive tackle was incredible to close out the 2025 season on the left side, as was Troy Fautanu at right tackle. But Mike McCarthy made the call to flip the players from left to right, and the pass protection has been dreadful ever since.
