Steelers' Joey Porter Jr. drama gets even more complicated before Week 2 game - Steelers Wire
We have a concerning update on Joey Porter Jr. just days away from the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 2 matchup against the New England Patriots, and it's safe to say the situation just got even more complicated.
Despite Mike McCarthy's claims that Porter would do even more work during Thursday's practice, the talented yet disgruntled cornerback was spotted leaving practice with the Steelers' medical staff.
Porter was placed on the physically unable to perform list with a back injury to start training camp, but some speculated this had more to do with a contractual hold-in than an actual health setback. The Steelers activated him off the PUP before the start of the regular season, but Porter was still inactive for Week 1.
With Porter listed on Wednesday's injury report as a limited participant with a non-injury-related/conditioning designation, and now this new update on Thursday, his future with the Steelers is looking bleak.
