During his long playing career with the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Witten had some eye-popping performances. However, he likely never had a performance like what his son did Friday night.

Cooper Witten, a five-star Oklahoma linebacker commit, did a little bit of everything in Liberty Christian's (TX) 65-43 win over Prestonwood Christian, shining on both sides of the ball.

He led the Warriors' defense with 18 tackles, 11 in the first half alone, and was also one of their leading receivers, catching a team-high five passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns.

Entering the night, Cooper had been used sparingly in the Warriors' passing game, catching five passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns in two previous games. He's been a factor in their passing game each of the previous two seasons, catching 55 passes for 972 yards and 19 touchdowns.

The future Sooner has been as good as advertised defensively this season after missing a good portion of last year with an injury. After his 18-tackle night on Friday, Cooper now has 54 tackles this season.

Cooper announced his commitment to Oklahoma on March 3, choosing the Sooners over Georgia, Texas A&M and his dad's alma mater Tennessee.

A five-star prospect in the latest USA TODAY Sports composite ranking for the 2027 class, Cooper is ranked as the No. 28 overall prospect in his class, the No. 2 linebacker prospect and the No. 3 player out of the Lone Star State.
