Sofia Trazona has been openly embracing her identity as a transgender woman, marking a deeply personal journey that began with her earlier experiences of dressing up, makeup, and performing in drag.

Before publicly identifying as Sofia, she was known as Andrei and eventually began reflecting on whether her expression of femininity was pointing to something deeper. In 2025, Sofia has become more open in her transition and the challenges along the way. Since then, Sofia has continued taking steps that affirm how she sees herself, including undergoing hormone therapy and, most recently, breast enhancement surgery as part of her gender-affirming journey. Throughout this chapter of her life, Sofia has also spoken about the support she receives from her family, particularly her biological father, choreopgrapher Michael Navarro. She has shared that Michael supports both her work as a drag performer and her transition, even helping with her hormones and makeup. Her mother, former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, has also publicly expressed love and support for Sofia, despite their relationship having gone through difficult moments as Sofia navigated her transition. For Sofia, the journey has been about becoming more comfortable with the person she sees in the mirror and honoring the woman she has long felt herself to be.
