SCR honours eight safety champions

South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava on Monday (September 28, 2026) presented the ‘Employee of the Month’ awards to eight employees from various safety categories across the Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded divisions for their exemplary commitment to duty and alertness in preventing unsafe situations.

The awardees were Station Master Bishnu Gupta, Train Manager Dhananjay Arya, Track Maintainer Vijay Kumar, Loco Pilot C. Suresh, Assistant Loco Pilot Pradeep Kumar Roy, Loco Pilot Rajneesh, Technician Sanjeev, and Senior Section Engineer K. Ravi.

Congratulating the employees, Mr. Srivastava commended them for discharging their duties with dedication and professionalism. He said the awards would inspire other railway employees to remain vigilant and contribute towards ensuring safety in train operations. He also stressed the need for strict adherence to safety protocols across all departments, with special emphasis on safety at level crossings and regular night inspections to monitor staff alertness.
