The standout feature Privacy Display, launched with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is still being developed and will be reserved exclusively for the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra models.

SamMobile, a news website reporting on Samsung products, stated that the Privacy Display screen—humorously nicknamed "spy-proof screen" in Thai—will be upgraded further for use in the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

The difference between the Privacy Display on the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra compared to the Galaxy S26 Ultra is increased brightness, though exact brightness figures and other display quality details have not been disclosed.

Privacy Display was first introduced on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, utilizing a special OLED panel that can hide some or all content from side viewing. It acts like an integrated privacy film and can conceal notifications or sensitive information.

However, this feature comes with limitations: the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s screen is about 300 nits dimmer at maximum brightness than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and it gets even dimmer when Privacy Display is activated. In practice, this does not significantly affect usability.

The Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ models will not receive the Privacy Display feature.
