Rocket competition blasts off in outback - ABC News & Headlines – Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Hundreds of university students and other participants from as far away as India travelled to outback New South Wales over the weekend for an international rocket competition. Roughly 20 teams designed, built and launched rockets from a remote sheep station near the tiny town of White Cliffs.

Each year, teams design, build, and launch their own rockets, putting their skills, creativity, and teamwork to the test.
