Rep. Subramanyam Says Federal Data Center Plan Is Needed

Rep. Subramanyam (D-VA) says Democrats want to prevent the data-center industry from steamrolling communities by building near homes and schools or making residents bear higher power costs. Rep. Subramanyam supports building data centers but believes a federal approach is needed instead of addressing development community by community and state by state. Rep. Subramanyam thinks there is a bipartisan path forward for data-center rules and that part of his plan has already advanced through committee. He speaks with Joe Mathieu and Kailey Leinz on Bloomberg’s "Balance of Power." (Source: Bloomberg)
