The police in Ranipet have handed over 50 ‘lost and found’ mobile phones, cumulatively valued at ₹6 lakh, to the respective owners.

The phones were traced by the Ranipet district cybercrime police thanks to the introduction of a cell tracker application. Since June, 340 mobile phones worth ₹44 lakh were recovered and returned to owners, police said.
