Rams TE Terrance Ferguson suffers ankle injury vs. Broncos - Rams Wire

Terrance Ferguson is a big part of the Los Angeles Rams' offense, becoming a player they can't afford to lose. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury in the first quarter of their game against the Denver Broncos and was taken straight to the locker room.

Ferguson went down awkwardly while running a route on third down and proceeded to hobble off the field, favoring his right leg. He was then taken into the locker room, and according to NBC's broadcast, he went into the X-ray room for further evaluation on his right ankle.

Ferguson was on the injury report this week with an ankle issue, so it's possible he aggravated that injury in the first quarter.

Update (9:03 p.m. ET): Ferguson has returned to the game.

Update (9:24 p.m. ET): Ferguson appeared to re-injure his ankle after his first catch of the game, going to the ground before coming up hobbling. He went straight to the bench for further evaluation.
