Prince Harry will be always associated to the royal family, says an expert.

The Duke of Sussex, who faced a hiccup ahead of Invictus game 2027 in the shape of Uganda backing out from the competition due to problems with King Charles, is very much part of the Royal Institute.

PR expert Mayah Riaz said: "The fact that Uganda has now rejoined following reassurance from King Charles shows just how closely Harry’s work can still be connected to the wider royal institution, whether he wants it to be or not.”

“Harry has spent years building Invictus as something independent and centred on veterans, but this episode has demonstrated that royal politics can still have a very real impact on the organisation,” she added.

Meanwhile, expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror: "Harry was clearly annoyed that the letter issued by the Palace, on the instructions of the King, about his and Meghan’s status caused Uganda to pull out of the Invictus Games. In fact, he was probably fuming about it.

"Sources say there’s a good deal of suspicion in the Sussex camp about the Palace’s claim that the letter was in response to requests for clarification about how Harry and Meghan should be treated. In fact there’s a feeling that the letter was the cause of the very confusion it purported to address,” she noted.
