The sale is Oct. 6-7, with many deals exclusive to Prime members. But before Prime Big Deal Days officially starts, there are plenty of early deals to be found — including some on highly-coveted Apple products.

I frequently cover shopping events like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday as a commerce editor for NBC Selected, so I know how to find deals that are actually worth buying. I spent days combing through tons of discounts to find the best early October Prime Day Apple deals — each one I recommend below is highly rated and 20% off or more, as well as at its lowest price in at least three months.
