On Nov. 2, Popeyes announced the return of the fan-favorite with its new menu item Cajun Onion Rings. The Cajun Onion Rings are seasoned with Cajun spice and served with one dip cup of buttermilk ranch. The onion rings were first introduced at the chicken chain in the '90s. According to Allrecipes, the onion rings were last seen on most menus back in the 2010s.

And customers haven't been waiting around to get a bite.

Here's what to know about getting your hands on Popeyes Cajun Onion Rings.

Popeyes Cajun Onion Rings have been available to order since Monday, Nov. 2.

An order of the Cajun Onion Rings cost $3.99, according to a news release.

Largely, the Cajun Onion Rings have received positive feedback from customers.

"I ain't going to lie. They were better than I thought," one content creator said in a TikTok video on Nov. 2. "I'm not even a big onion ring fan, but for a drive-thru, these are crazy. This isn't sponsored, but if I had to rate these crunchy, spicy bundles of joy, I would give them a solid eight."

Another content creator said the onion rings are better than Popeyes' fries.

"At first, it's just like a really crispy beer-battered onion ring and then right at the end, you get that spicy Cajun heat that builds. It's a sneaky heat," Fink said in a TikTok video posted on Nov. 2.

In a Nov. 2 TikTok video another content creator said the onion rings don't compare to the ones she prefers at Outback Steakhouse.

"I wouldn't say they are worth the money," the creator wrote in the comments of her video.
