Police back to drawing court after suspect in Ekurhuleni murder released - EWN

Police said they’re going back to the drawing board after a third suspect linked to the murder of a woman in Ekurhuleni was released from custody.

The unidentified man could not be charged, with the State saying there wasn’t enough evidence to proceed against him.

Prosecutors are, however, pressing ahead with the case against two women linked to the murder of Jabulile Ntimba.

Ntimba’s body was found in Boksburg last Thursday, making her the ninth woman to be killed in a string of murders in Ekurhuleni.

Police said all is not lost as detectives continue to gather evidence in the case.
