MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines’ scores improved in the 2025 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), but the results showed nearly two in three Filipino students are still low-performing in science, mathematics, and reading.
In PISA, 15-year-old students are considered low-performing when they fail to reach the minimum proficiency level in the subjects covered by the assessment.
