The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has commenced the first-round seat allotment process for postgraduate (PG) medical courses and has set November 2, 4 p.m., as the deadline for candidates to enter their options.
The mock seat allotment results would be announced on November 3 at 4 p.m. Following this, candidates would be allowed to modify, add or delete their options from 5 p.m. on November 3 until 10 a.m. on November 5, said KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna.
The provisional seat allotment results would be announced at 8 p.m. on November 5, while the final results would be declared at 11 a.m. on November 6.
The options entered for the first round would remain valid for the second round as well. Therefore, candidates must exercise caution while entering their preferences, as there would be no provision to enter fresh options in the second round, he added.
