The National Assembly (NA) is expected to, once again, debate the scourge of gender-based violence (GBV) in the country. It follows a spate of murders of women largely in the City of Ekhurhuleni that has, once again, called into question the government’s response to attacks on women.
The Democratic Alliance (DA), which requested the debate on a matter of national importance, is calling for government intervention.
