On Friday, top Privy Council office intelligence official Dominic Rochon provided more detail about the government’s plan to beef up the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) the day after it announced a $6 billion investment in the agency.

Speaking at the annual Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies symposium, Rochon said Canada needs to better protect its economic security against foreign threats and shocks.
