Nita Ambani's Diwali party look is all things pink and precious jewels

Nita Ambani brought a vibrant dose of festive glamour to designer Manish Malhotra’s annual grand Diwali party at his Mumbai residence on Thursday. For the star-studded evening, she opted for a fuchsia pink satin saree by the designer along with some statement jewellery pieces from her enviable collection.

Sharing details of the look on Instagram, Manish Malhotra revealed that the saree featured delicate gold lacework and multi-hued Swarovski embellishments, adding a beautiful play of colour and light to the drape. The blouse was equally elaborate, with an intricately jewelled back embellished with multi-coloured Swarovski crystals. A closer glimpse of the bejewelled blouse.

Nita also carried a handcrafted, Pichwai-inspired handbag from her personal collection. The exquisite piece featured handmade enamelled lotus motifs adorned with diamonds, while its interiors were lined with pearls and zari. While the bright fuchsia saree was hard to miss, it was Nita’s jewellery that added another layer of glamour to the ensemble. She accessorised with dazzling ear cuffs, a chunky statement bracelet and an eye-catching ring that almost looked like three rings stacked together. Each piece added to the grandeur of her festive look.

The evening saw several Bollywood celebrities in attendance, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kajol, Ananya Panday, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon and Madhuri Dixit. Interestingly, Madhuri also opted for a fuchsia satin ensemble for the occasion. However, instead of a traditional saree, she wore a corset-style saree set. - Ends
