New York Giants hold off Titans in 12-7 victory: Here's how fans reacted - Giants Wire

The New York Giants welcomed the Tennessee Titans to MetLife Stadium for their Week 3 matchup, hoping to improve to 2-1 on the season.

There were plenty of storylines entering the game, including Brian Daboll’s return to MetLife Stadium, a handful of former Giants who signed with the Titans this offseason, and Giants coaches Brian Callahan and Dennard Wilson facing their former team.

The weather did Jameis Winston no favors in his first start following Jaxson Dart’s season-ending injury. The Giants and Titans dealt with rough conditions all afternoon, and it proved to be a difficult day for both offenses.

After going up 9-0 at halftime, the Giants added a field goal on their first drive of the second half to take a 12-0 lead. The Titans put their first points on the board when Wan’Dale Robinson scored a touchdown with 5:35 left in the fourth quarter.

The Giants stalled on the ensuing drive and gave the Titans a chance to steal the game. Jevon Holland, who may very well be the Giants’ most valuable player so far this season, intercepted Cam Ward in the end zone with under a minute remaining to secure the win for Big Blue.
