Nellore to host MSME workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs on September 24

With the aim of encouraging aspiring entrepreneurs and supporting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises (MSMEs), the ‘One Family – One Entrepreneur’ MSME Growth Workshop will be conducted at Sri Venkateshwara Kasturbha Kala Kshetram in Santhi Nagar, Nellore, on Thursday (September 24).

Under the aegis of District Industries department, the workshop is being organised jointly by the District Industries Centre (DIC), Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA), A.P. State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and A.P. Micro Irrigation Project (APMIP).

District Collector Himanshu Shukla said the workshop will create awareness on various topics for the benefit of aspiring entrepreneurs, representatives of MSMEs, and members of self-help groups (SHGs). The experts would hold seminars on subjects such as production processes, marketing opportunities, bank loans, government schemes and digital services.

In addition to setting up dedicated help-desks to provide necessary information and guidance to the aspiring entrepreneurs, stalls representing various departments and organisations would also be established. The initiative aims to ensure that all essential information is available on a single platform for those wishing to enter the industrial sector.

Mr. Shukla urged the aspiring entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and SHGs to make the most of the workshop, which is being organised to accelerate industrial development in the district and encourage at least one entrepreneur from every family.
