Salah landed at Atatürk Airport's General Aviation Terminal aboard a private jet from the Greek island of Mykonos, where he had been spending his holiday.

The 34-year-old was greeted by hundreds of Trabzonspor supporters, who welcomed him with chants and cheers. Wearing the club's No. 61 jersey, Salah acknowledged the fans before leaving the airport with Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan.

The Egyptian international is expected to complete a medical examination at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital before signing a two-year contract with the Black Sea club.

Trabzonspor plans to hold an official signing ceremony at Papara Park on Wednesday, where supporters will have the opportunity to welcome the club's high-profile new signing.

In a video shared on Trabzonspor's official social media accounts, Salah addressed the club's fans while wearing the team's jersey.

"Trabzon, are you ready? I can hear you. See you very soon. Everywhere is Trabzon for us," he said.

The club later confirmed that Salah had successfully completed his medical examination, bringing him one step closer to officially becoming a Trabzonspor player.
