Mehemmedeli Osmanli blasts 'sneaky b*tch' Akylbek Uulu for accepting DQ win - MMA Junkie

Mehemmedeli Osmanli is adamant Akylbek Uulu had nothing for him at UFC Fight Night 289.

Osmanli (12-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) was disqualified for throwing an illegal knee to a downed Uulu (11-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in Round 1 of Saturday's main card at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. As a result, Uulu was crowned the Season 34 "Ultimate Fighter" winner.

A disappointed Osmanli says Uulu milked the shot which put him out cold. Uulu wanted to continue, but ultimately, the fight was waved off and Osmanli was disqualified.

"I was so ready for this fight. I felt really great," Osmanli said on the "Believe You Me" podcast. "When I went to the octagon, I felt really great and comfortable. People love me. I have a lot of fans, and when I (threw) the knee, it was just a mistake. I think he tried to wrestle. I didn't think his knee was down. I thought he was up, and he tried wrestling. His position was like wrestling position and his hands up.

"When the referee stopped the fight, it's like Akylbek had a chance to win. He used this because the translator told him, 'If you don't get up, you're going to win – disqualification.' And he had just one chance to win, and he used it like a girl. Sneaky b*tch, what can I say? That's bullsh*t. One hundred percent, he faked it. First he took my leg, he tried to wrestle, and when I kneed him, it wasn't my bone. It was my muscles, not knee. He's a clown."

Osmanli is confident he gets another chance in the UFC and wants it as soon as possible. As for a rematch with Uulu, the brash 22-year-old explains why he doesn't see it happening.

"We're waiting to talk to Sean Shelby Monday," Osmanli said. "People love me. I'm a future superstar because I have striking, wrestling, grappling. I show everywhere great. I want to fight in Abu Dhabi, maybe Qatar. I will see. Why not (a rematch)? I think he don't want. He never wants because he felt who I am. I didn't feel his physicality. I didn't feel anything. I killed him like a kid. Just one punch, he go down. He'll never want to fight again with me."
