Mantashe urges ANC supporters in CPT to go to the polls in their numbers - EWN
African National Congress (ANC) chairperson Gwede Mantashe says all they need is for supporters to go to the polls in their numbers come November 4.
Mantashe was in Cape Town on Saturday on a door-to-door campaign alongside ANC volunteers.
His first stop was in Site B, Khayelitsha, where he was greeted by frustrated residents who slammed government over poor service delivery.
Residents lamented unfulfilled promises by the ANC and a lack of jobs.
However, Mantashe took aim at the da-led provincial government, highlighting its failures and mismanagement.
"What is at stake here is that as long as the da remains in charge, black people are going to pay the price. So, they must learn to appreciate the fact that theyβve got the power in their hands- in numbers," Mantashe said.
