India vs Vietnam in sepaktakraw women's quadrant first group match is underway and it hasn't been a great start for the Indian stars.
They have lost the first game 15-7 and now face an uphill task to save the contest. Can they do it?
India's Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Prithika Pradeep and Taniparthi Chikitha will be up against a strong challenge in the form of South Korea's Jungyoon Park, Yerin Park and Kang Yeonseo on Wednesday. A win will mean India will go into the final and fight for gold.
If they lose the contest, then it will be a fight for bronze.
India's MOBA (League of Legends) Group B tie against Hong Kong China is all set to get underway. Later on, they will face Korea and finish of their group stages with the tie against Chinese Taipei. The top two teams from the groups will progress to the semi-finals.
Vietnam and Saudi Arabia are already through from Group A. If India can make it to the semis, then it will be a medal assured.
So, the action on September 30 kicked off for India early with golf. It has been a good start for the Indian contingent, as Saptak Talwar leads the way, tied in 2nd early in round 1. Yuvraj Sandhu is tied 26th and Veer Ahlawat is tied 48 after the first few shots. The Indian team is currently in fourth spot.

Wrestling could add further interest, with Sunil Kumar and Nisha Dahiya potentially featuring in medal bouts if they make it through their respective events.
Away from the headline events, Indian athletes will also be competing in cycling, canoe slalom, judo and sports climbing, creating several more opportunities for the country to add to its medal tally.
