Eleven people have been killed in a head-on collision involving a minibus taxi and a truck on the N2 in Mtubatuba, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), on Sunday morning.
Eleven people have been killed in a head-on collision involving a minibus taxi and a truck on the N2 in Mtubatuba, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), on Sunday morning.
The crash happened in the early hours of the morning, with the taxi travelling northbound and the truck heading southbound.
Eight other people were critically injured in the crash, with several suffering burns. Transport MEC Siboniso Duma expressed his deepest condolences to the families of those killed.
Police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the deadly collision.
