Week 1 saw the unofficial start of the Thursday slate of games when the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Australia. Of course, that game was on Netflix, so it came without the "TNF" branding that fans have come to expect on Amazon Prime Video.

Fortunately for fans that are craving football after a two day break, there is a doozy of a matchup to start Week 2.

The Buffalo Bills are set to open the new Highmark Stadium for the first time in the regular season. The visiting Detroit Lions will look to spoil the party in a clash between two 1-0 teams.

It's back to streaming for football fans, this time on the usual home of "Thursday Night Football."

It's a matchup that will see the Bills take on the Lions in the regular season debut for the new Highmark Stadium. Kicking off at its normal time, "TNF" is set for an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff on Prime Video. Fans in the local markets will have the game available on traditional cable.
