Influencer Jule's Urine Test Positive for Narcotic Etomidate

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Influencer Julia Prastini, known as Jule, has tested positive for the narcotic etomidate from vape use.

"The urine test came back positive for etomidate," said AKP Michael Kharisma Tandayu, Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, at the Police Headquarters in Tangerang City on Saturday (19/9/2026).

Jule was arrested at an apartment in South Jakarta on Monday (14/9/2026).

During the arrest, the police found four vape cartridges: three empty and one still full containing etomidate.

"At the time of arrest, JP was at the apartment with two friends. However, those two friends were unaware of any activities JP was involved in, and both tested negative in their urine tests," Michael explained.

Based on investigations and police inquiries, Jule had reportedly been using the narcotic vape for about two to three weeks before her arrest.

"The reason for using it is personal, possibly due to stress or other factors, as explained by JP," Michael added.

Although Jule's urine tested positive for etomidate, the police have not named her a suspect and she will undergo rehabilitation.

"Based on the investigation, we have classified her status under restorative justice, meaning JP is considered a user. She will undergo assessment and subsequently rehabilitation," Michael said.
