India’s medal hunt is expected to intensify on Day 7 with a packed schedule across multiple disciplines in the ongoing 2026 Asian Games taking place in Aichi-Nagoya. The day opens with surfing at 4:16 AM IST, where Sugar Shanti and Kamali Moorthy take to the water in the women’s shortboard, before the equestrian action begins at 6:00 AM with the Dressage event featuring Shruti Vora, Gaurav Pundir, Hriday Chheda and Jai Sud.

Shooting follows soon after, with the trio of Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil and Niraj Kumar carrying strong podium hopes in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions, alongside the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team of Kamaljeet, Suruchi and Inder Singh.
