IIT Kharagpur extends JAM 2027 registration deadline, apply by Oct 19

The application deadline for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2027 has been extended. Earlier set to close on October 12, now the JAM 2027 registration window will close on October 19. Aspirant will get another week to apply for the 89 postgraduate programmes in science and related disciplines offered across 23 IITs for the academic year 2027-28.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is the JAM 2027 organising institute this year. The last date to submit applications is October 19. The JOAPS portal for data correction on payment basis will open on November 10. The examination will be conducted on February 14, 2027.

The JAM 2027 results are scheduled to be announced on March 18, 2027.

The examination will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. Candidates can appear for one or two test papers, subject to the prescribed combination and additional fee.IIT JAM 2027: WHAT ARE THE PAPERS OFFERED

Candidates can apply for up to two test papers, provided the papers are scheduled in different sessions.

For candidates appearing for one test paper, the application fee is Rs 1,000 for female candidates and candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories. For other candidates, the fee is Rs 2,000.
