Hyundai, Misk Foundation deepen mobility partnership - The Guardian Nigeria News

Hyundai Motor Group and the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk) have concluded a two-week Urban Innovation Leadership Programme aimed at strengthening knowledge exchange and leadership development around future mobility, smart cities and emerging automotive technologies.

The programme brought together members of the Saudi Leadership Society and alumni of Misk leadership programmes who were jointly nominated and selected by Hyundai Motor Group and Misk Foundation.

The initiative provided participants with exposure to developments in autonomous mobility, smart cities, hydrogen technology, digital twins, robotics and digital infrastructure, combining Hyundai’s automotive and technology expertise with Misk’s understanding of Saudi Arabia’s development priorities.

According to Hyundai Motor Group, the programme is part of its wider engagement with Saudi Arabia and represents an expansion of its relationship with the Kingdom beyond vehicle and technology deploymeCentrent to include knowledge sharing and institutional collaboration.

Participants examined South Korea’s approaches to smart-city development, autonomous driving and mobility infrastructure through lectures, site visits and practical sessions.

The programme included visits to a Smart City Integrated Center, an autonomous vehicle test bed, hydrogen ecosystem facilities and other smart infrastructure projects.

Participants also visited Hyundai Motor Group’s innovation centres to gain insights into technologies spanning smart mobility, smart homes, digital platforms and urban solutions.
