"We request meeting approval, whether the results of the discussion on the One Data Indonesia Bill be processed further?" said DPR Legislative Body Chairperson Bob Hasan at the Parliament Complex on Monday, October 5, 2026.

After receiving approval, the One Data Indonesia Bill will be discussed during the second stage of DPR's plenary meeting, where it will be ratified as law.

"The second-stage discussion is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. WIB [Western Indonesian Time]," said the politician from the Gerindra Party.

Chairperson of the Working Committee (Panja) for the One Data Indonesia Bill, Sturman Panjaitan, said that in the discussions that took place from September 23 to October 5, 2026, the government submitted 1,338 Inventory Problem Lists (DIM) for the body and 829 explanatory DIMs.

According to Sturman, through DIM discussions, the government and the legislative body reached an agreement to pay particular attention to improving national data governance, ensuring integration, accuracy, and sovereignty. He added that the One Data Indonesia Bill consists of XX chapters and 141 articles.

DPR Legislative Body Vice Chairperson Martin Manurung said one of the provisions regulated by the One Data Indonesia Bill is criminal liability for sabotage and data manipulation.

This provision is regulated in Articles 129 to 135. One of them is Article 133, which regulates attacks, sabotage, manipulation, destruction, unauthorized dissemination, or takeover of national data centers and interoperability technical infrastructure.

"Penalties can be up to 15 years in prison or fines of up to category 8," said the politician from the NasDem Party.

In addition, the criminal provisions of the One Data Indonesia Bill regulate the imposition of aggravated sanctions on state officials, government organizers, and corporations that commit violations.

Article 134 regulates the provisions for aggravated penalties, which increase by one-third for state officials or government organizers. "Article 135 relates to penalties for corporations and corporate management," Martin said.
