Here's who the Bears will face at quarterback vs. Vikings in Week 2 - Bears Wire
The Chicago Bears will host the Minnesota Vikings in a key divisional showdown on Sunday for what is first place in the NFC North. Now, a burning question has been answered about who will start at quarterback for Minnesota.
According to ESPN's Kevin Seifert, Kyler Murray is out with a concussion and Carson Wentz will get the start on Sunday with JJ McCarthy serving as his backup.
Murray suffered a concussion early in the Vikings' Week 1 game against the Green Bay Packers. He was replaced by Wentz, who 12-of-19 passes for 133 yards, three touchdowns and was sacked three times in Minnesota's fourth-quarter comeback win.
While Wentz didn't have a lights out performance coming off the bench against the Packers, he was able to do enough to lead his team to a win. Now, he'll face a Bears defense that had a rough showing against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, where they allowed nearly 500 yards of total offense and 37 points.
