Hanuman Ansh Telugu release might be in limbo, presenter Trivikram out of deal

Filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas has disassociated himself from the Telugu release of Hanuman Ansh, just days before the Bollywood blockbuster is scheduled to hit theatres in Telugu on September 18. Trivikram was earlier supposed to be presenting the Vishal Chaturvedi-directed film in Telugu under his Fortune Four Cinemas banner. However, a last-minute development has now left his association with the release in doubt.

According to a source close to Trivikram, the deal between the filmmaker and the team behind Hanuman Ansh fell through. The fallout also appears to have affected the film's promotional plans in Hyderabad, with a Telugu teaser launch event scheduled for September 15 being cancelled at the last minute.

“There have been some last-minute problems because of which the teaser launch event that was scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on September 15 was cancelled. Trivikram will no longer be presenting the Telugu release,” the source told India Today.

The development has naturally raised questions about whether Hanuman Ansh will make it to Telugu theatres on September 18 as planned. However, according to the same source, the film could still release on the scheduled date, although it would no longer be presented through Fortune Four Cinemas.

The uncertainty also comes amid the delayed release of the Telugu teaser. The teaser was scheduled to be unveiled at 6.08 pm on September 14, but has not been released yet.
