Georgia teen arrested in connection with grisly death after being spotted allegedly moving human torso in tub

An 18-year-old has been arrested after he was spotted allegedly moving a tub that contained a dismembered torso at an apartment in Smyrna, Georgia.

Kingston Bradley has been charged with concealing the death. He was taken into custody on Wednesday and is being held without bond at the Cobb County Jail, according to 11Alive.

Bradley was allegedly spotted moving a plastic tub through an outdoor area at the Park Valley Apartments around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

When Bradley noticed that he was being watched, he allegedly dropped the tub in a dirt walkway and ran into his apartment, which is in the same complex.

Police received a missing person's report directing them to the complex. When officers arrived at the scene and opened the tub, they discovered a dismembered human torso inside.

Investigators then searched Bradley's apartment and allegedly found multiple bloodstains inside as well as a large, blood-covered saw. Police said in a report that a strong bleach smell was present in the apartment. They also allegedly found a mop, a bucket of water, and a carpet cleaner.

The victim was identified as a woman, but her name has not been released to the public. The victim's family told 11 Alive that the woman who was killed was Shanteria "Tia" Mosely.

They said they filed a missing person's report after she left home to make DoorDash deliveries and did not return home. The family members claim they tracked Mosely's phone to the apartment complex and even spoke to Bradley, who allegedly told them he had not seen the woman.

Michelle Weaver, Mosely's aunt, said she is the one who saw Bradley allegedly moving the tub.

The Smyrna Police Department is still investigating the incident.

Bradley has a previous, unresolved case that involves a fight with his father in late 2024. He was charged with two counts of terroristic threats, battery, simple battery, and criminal trespass-damage to property.

According to a warrant in that case, Bradley allegedly hit his father with an Xbox controller, breaking down his bedroom door, and then pushing "a 15-year-old male juvenile" into a window, breaking it in the process.

The terroristic threat charge comes from him allegedly "suggesting the death" of his father.

Bradley pleaded not guilty in that case in April and will face his next hearing for that matter on October 6.
