The Nigerian youngsters finished the tournament with five wins from five matches, underlining their dominance throughout the competition. Captain Chidera Harmony was the star of the final, scoring twice from the penalty spot to give Nigeria a comfortable advantage before half-time. The victory over Togo completed Nigeria’s five-match winning run and secured the title without a single defeat.
