Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Week 2: WR Edition - Touchdown Wire
One week into the NFL season, fantasy football is in full swing, with everyone learning a little bit about what they have (and don't have) on their rosters. Fortunately, there is still plenty of time left, and several moves that you can make if your season has gotten off to a rocky start – and the best way to score points quickly is to have the right wideout in your lineup. Let's take a look at which wide receivers you should start and which you should sit in Week 2.
DJ Moore, Buffalo Bills: We made the mistake of sitting Moore last week because he had to face what was an elite Texans defense in 2025. But Moore torched that defense, and now he will get to face a Lions defense that gave up over 400 passing yards to Tyler Shough last week.
Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams: The Rams are among the most talented teams in the league and had a lackluster start to the season last week – expect Matthew Stafford and his wideout, including Davante Adams, to want revenge. This week, they play the Giants – who allowed 28 fantasy points per game to receivers last year, the ninth-most in the league.
Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals: The talent is there for Chase, and everyone knows that. But he wasn't a big target last week and had the second-worst fantasy game of his career. He'll look to bounce back this week and has the perfect opportunity against a Texans defense that allowed a big game from DJ Moore last week.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars: Washington had an incredible Week 1 performance against the Browns and may be worth rostering this season. But this week, he goes up against an elite Broncos defense and a matchup with Patrick Surtain. Don't expect things to go as smoothly for him.
DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers: Metcalf had one of the least efficient seasons of his career last year with Aaron Rodgers, and that trend continued in Week 1 this season as he caught just four receptions for 44 yards.
Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona Cardinals: Harrison was targeted just three times last week, with several other Cardinals pass-catchers receiving more attention. Over his career with quarterback Jacoby Brissett, he averages only 5.5 targets and 2.8 receptions per game.
