The Miami Dolphins have started off their 2026 campaign with an 0-2 record, and they've had some questionable performances on defense and special teams so far, which is probably why they're looking to add to their roster.

The Miami Dolphins have started off their 2026 campaign with an 0-2 record, and they've had some questionable performances on defense and special teams so far, which is probably why they're looking to add to their roster.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Dolphins are signing linebacker Andre Jones Jr. off the Buffalo Bills practice squad.

Jones, 27, played collegiately at Lousiana-Lafayette from 2017-22, earning All-Sun Belt honors once during his time with the Ragin' Cajuns.

The Washignton Commanders took him in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he spent two seasons there before joining the Bills in 2025. In 19 games over four years, he's recorded 10 tackles and three passes defensed, while playing more special teams than defense.
