The board had released its tentative date sheet for the 2026 examinations on September 24, 2025. The announcement allowed students and schools to plan their academic schedules and examination preparations in advance.

The board has already issued a notice regarding the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for the Class 10 and Class 12 main examinations for the 2026–27 academic session. The notice was published on September 21, 2026.
Once released, the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 date sheet is expected to include subject-wise examination dates and other relevant examination details.
