The Johannesburg High Court has ruled that the State can use hospital records to test the credibility of Musa Kekana in the trial of alleged underworld figure Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.

The Johannesburg High Court has ruled that the State can use hospital records to test the credibility of Musa Kekana in the trial of alleged underworld figure Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.

The court rejected the defence’s argument that the records were hearsay because the medical practitioners who made the entries had not testified.
