Speaking on KfmΒ Mornings this week, Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis told presenters that the City is 'well on its way' to completing the famously unfinished Foreshore Freeway Bridge.
Often dubbed the 'bridge to nowhere', the elevated section of the freeway has stood uncompleted for decades.
Promising that the City will reveal more details in September, the Mayor said that it was 'exciting' news.
"In September, we're going to release some of our first designs for public comment."
