Byron Young wishes Jaxson Dart 'healthy recovery' after knee injury - Rams Wire

Following the Los Angeles Rams' victory over the New York Giants on Monday night, Pro Bowl linebacker Byron Young took to social media and wished Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart a healthy recovery. Young was involved in the play that forced Dart out of the game, hitting him on a third-down play during the opening drive.

On a routine third-and-eight on New York's first drive of the game, Dart dropped back for a pass. Young and fellow outside linebacker Josaiah Stewart shot around the edge of the offensive tackles, and as they closed in on Dart, they collided with him in a way that led to a knee injury. Dart attempted to return but was not able to.

Despite the accidental nature of the injury, Young shared his well wishes for Dart on Instagram.

While Young did nothing wrong, his class-act nature is another reason he's a respected and beloved player within the franchise. Young had an excellent performance in the win, recording five total tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, and three quarterback hits.

For Dart, he is believed to have suffered a sprained MCL. Depending on the severity of the sprain, he could miss anywhere from one to six weeks.
