Bus rolls backwards with passengers, conductor's quick move prevents disaster

A bus conductor in Jharkhand's Dumka helped avert a possible tragedy after a passenger-filled bus suffered brake failure on a steep incline and began rolling backwards, with passengers scrambling to get off the moving vehicle.

A video of the frightening episode showed the bus moving backwards as passengers panicked inside. Some of them jumped off in an attempt to escape, while screams could be heard amid the chaos.

Amid the confusion, the conductor rushed towards the moving bus and tried to stop it. He began placing large stones under its tyres, attempting to slow the vehicle down as it continued rolling backwards.

His quick thinking eventually paid off, and the bus came to a halt. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries in the incident.
